L1V Test
1.
Connect channel 1 of the oscilloscope input to the L1V connection on the Calibration
System Input/Output panel (right side of the system).
2.
In the Test Parameters menu set:
•
Input Frequency: to nominal frequency (50 Hz or 60 Hz)
•
Phase Shift: -90˚
•
Phase Step Size: 10˚
•
Amplitude Step Size: 0
•
Step Time: 1
•
Number of Steps: 1

Select Run Test.

The oscilloscope will not trigger until the 6135A TRIGGER OUTPUT signal positive
edge occurs at the start of the step. The Voltage Positive Sequence TVE results will
be plotted on the Client software as the test progresses. The voltage step will occur
exactly 1 second after the start of the test.
5.
When the oscilloscope has triggered, use the vertical cursors to measure and record in
Table 9-4 the values of Ta, Tb, and Tc for L1V as shown as shown in Figure 9-1.
6.
