6.4.2
Dismantling the valve body
1.
Disassemble the valve with the instruction above to the point where the actuator,
gate (2) and tower (3) have been removed from the valve body (1).
2.
Remove the ring sleeves (4) from the valve body and inspect for visible damage such
as cuts, slits or erosion grooves. Depressions and evident flat spots are also to be
taken as signs of damage. Change ring sleeves if damaged.
3.
Remove the secondary seal (7).
4.
Remove bottom cover plate (12).
5.
Remove grease nipples (8).

6.
Clean the body (1) from the inside and ensure that the bores are flawless.
7.
When all valve parts have been cleaned and inspected, continue to
