When Noise reduction is set to On , the image
noise decreases and the image appears more
stable.

on the screen that will be used when autoadjusting
the camera.

Please note the following:

Although the shutter period works independent-
ly of other functions described in this publica-
tion, FLIR Systems recommends that
Short is
selected when using the camera for detection
of face temperature.
■
Selecting Normal will calibrate the camera at
least every 15th minute, while selecting Short
will calibrate the camera at least every 3rd
minute.
■
If the shutter is switched off, a symbol (*) will
prefix the result at the time a shutter sequence
should have taken place, thus indicating uncer-
tainty in the measurement result.

Difference is a command that calculates the temperature difference between two
measurement markers, or the reference temperature and a measurement marker.
