CIRCUIT BREAKER (CB) INDEX

The Circuit Breaker Index page is accessed from the Master Index page by selecting the CB INDEX page
button. See Figure 3-34. The purpose of the Circuit Breaker Index page is to allow the instructor access
to the available circuit breaker pages. It is from these pages that the instructor can identify the circuit
breakers associated with a specific aircraft system, examine the status of the circuit breakers appearing
on each panel, and pop circuit breakers.

The Circuit Breaker display pages represent a replica of the Student Station circuit breaker panels. See
Figure 3-35. Each circuit breaker display page contains rows of selectable circuit breaker buttons. All
circuit breakers show applicable amps on and description below the button. Selecting any of the circuit
breaker buttons will send a trip request to the host. If conditions are right to trip the selected circuit
breaker, the button will illuminate red indicating a tripped status, and the actual CB on the Student Station
panel will pop.

Each circuit breaker display page can be accessed from the Circuit Breaker Index page or from the circuit
breaker page that is currently displayed. Tripped circuit breakers must be reset manually on the Student
Station panel.
