6.1.3 Drawbar

Objective

Adjustment of the drawbar height

. The height must be adapted to the trailer coupling of the towing

vehicle in order to couple the trailer without assistance.

Prerequisites

The trailer and the towing vehicle must be positioned one behind the other on a level surface.

Procedure

Type A

By moving the clamping point on the drawbar

Type B

Via spindles on the attached turnbuckle screw

6.1.4 Setting up the trailer coupling on the towing vehicle

Move the towing device of the towing vehicle to
the correct height.

Position the trailer coupling (A) on the towing
vehicle so that the trailer is horizontal when it is
hitched.
