3.3 Functional description
Loading the machine
Loading is performed as follows:
After fully preparing or equipping the tandem three-way tipper
-
Load the goods to be transported onto the loading bridge.
-
Do not exceed the total maximum allowable weight for the TDK.
-
Secure the goods.
-
The operator is responsible for securing the load properly,
-
Complying with the rules of the road
-
As well as for the operational safety and function of the lighting equipment.
Unloading the machine
At the unloading point:
-
Unlock the tailgate and fold down the side panel
o
(caution: be aware of the load pressure).
-
Depending on the model, the tandem three-way tipper is fitted with central locking on each
tipping side, with the side panels folding out on the bridge.
-
The TDK is equipped with two linchpins, which must always be fitted on the desired tipping
side. After the plug-in coupling (SVK coupling) has been connected to the on-board hydraulics
of the tractor (towing vehicle) and an operating pressure of min. 150 bar has been established,
the tipping process can be initiated by means of a single-action control valve on the tractor.
-
When tipping, particularly to the rear, the trailer
must be on a sufficiently strong, flat surface;
particular care must be taken with heavy, non-slip goods.
-
Carefully lock or unlock the tip bearing, attach the safety rope to the bolt.
-
Before commencing tipping, ensure that there are no persons in the unloading area.
-
All side panels are anchored with hinges.
-
Ensure that the latches engage after tipping. If necessary, remove any remaining goods.
-
Once tipping has been completed, always lower the loading surface completely.
The linchpins must not be crossed over.
