EQUIREMENTS
To achieve the maximum system capability, the minimum vacuum source requirements are:
•
Maximum Vacuum: : -100 kPa
•
Free Airflow Rate: 5.7 cfm (161 L/min)

RECOMMENEDED MAINTENANCE FOR THE FLEX JR.

After each experiment:
1.
Remove baseplate from incubator.
2.
Wipe silicone lubricant off the Loading Posts with a soft dry cloth or Kimwipe
®
.
3.
Clean off the baseplate (see 6. Application Notes)
4.
Open the water trap drain to remove any accumulated moisture, and then close the water
trap drain.
5.
Connect drying filter and run the 4-hour drying regimen (
see page 14
).
6.
After drying regimen finishes, remove the drying filter and connect FLEX IN and FLEX
OUT tubing together.
7.
If another regimen will not be run within 24 hours:
a.
Close the shutoff valves for vacuum.
b.
Remove tubing connections from the FlexLink
®
ports and insert the 4 white port
plugs.
Every year or 4000 hours of running time:
1.
Replace oil in vacuum pump.
2.
Replace desiccant bead in air compressor drying column (if applicable).
