The following parts are required for this
assembly step.
Position the entire preassembled bike rack in
the middle of the base support as depicted in
Ill. 3, if you wish to transport one bike only.
If you wish to mount 2 or 3 bike racks, position
them so that they are distanced equally on the
base support.
First verify that the base support is suited to
support the load. To fasten the bike rack, hold
fastening bolt (parts no. 9) beneath the base
support and insert from below into the holes
on the plate.
Then place the washers with a diameter of 6
(parts no. 4) on the bolt and fasten securely
using the turning handles (parts no. 7). Repeat
these steps on the other side.
Now fasten the bike rack to the back base
support by inserting the bolt (parts no. 9) with
the downward facing thread into the holes on
the profiled wheel guide (see Ill. 3). Then place
the support plate (parts no. 8) on the bolt
and fasten securely using the turning handles
(parts no. 7).

After these steps, make sure that all screws,
washers and turning handles are tightened
securely and that the bike rack, base support
and vehicle are securely attached to one
another.
