MAINTENANCE

Properly  cleaning  the  vacuum  unit  makes  sure  the  appliance  works  efficiently  and  effectively  when

operating, to carry out maintenance do as follows:

1.

Take all necessary steps to ensure that the device is in a safe condition (see “

MACHINE SAFETY

”).

2.

Remove the vacuum head (1) using the handle, before removing the head loosen the locking hooks

(2) on the side of the collection tank (3) (

Fig.1

). Rest the vacuum head gently on the floor.

IMPORTANT:

Before  removing  the  suction  cover,  remember  to  unscrew  the  plug  (4)  in  the

solution tank (Fig. 2).

3.

If present, remove the sponge filter (5) (Fig. 3) and clean it, wipe the mechanical float with a damp

cloth (6) (Fig. 4). When dry refit the sponge filter.

IMPORTANT:

If the surface of the filter is extremely dirty, brush the filter with a normal soft brush

to clean it thoroughly, and if necessary wash it in water.

SURFACE CLEANING METHODS

To perform a good job of washing the surfaces we suggest:

1.

Before using the appliance, be sure on a hidden spot of the object to be cleaned of the colour stability

and water resistance.

2.

Take the surface to be cleaned when overlapping, during this operation pull back the nozzle do not

push it forward.

3.

For normal dirt, spray and aspirate the detergent solution in one step.

IMPORTANT:

A second suction without spraying reduces the drying time.

4.

For intense or stains, apply the detergent solution with the suction motor deactivated and operate

for 10-15 minutes.

IMPORTANT:

To further improve the cleaning result, rinse the surface with clean and

warm water if necessary.

5.

For sensitive tissues, dose the detergent in minimal quantities and spray the surface at a distance of

about 200mm. then simply aspirate.

6.

Treat the very dirty parts beforehand and allow the detergent solution to take action for 5-10 minutes.

7.

Always wash from light to shade

8.

Always operate from the clean surface to the dirty surface.

9.

The more sensitive the coating is (e.g. Oriental rugs, Berbers, padded fabrics), the less detergent

concentration must be used.

10.

Carpets with a jute fund in case of excessively humid operations may contract and Discolor.

11.

Brush the long-haired carpets after cleaning when they are still wet in the direction of the hair (e.g.

with a hair brush or a rag).

12.

It runs through the treated surface or place furniture only after drying to prevent fingerprints or stains

from being formed.

13.

During the cleaning of carpets previously treated with shampoo, foam is created in the collection

frame, in this case pour an anti-foaming product inside the keg.

Use the handle (11), located at the front of the keg, to turn the collection shaft upside down (Fig. 7).

PRUDENCE:

During the tipping phase of the collection shaft, hold the appliance firmly using the

control handlebar (11).

CAUTION:

Before turning the appliance upside down, remove the detergent solution tank from

the support.

•

Remove dirt from inside the keg, rinse and clean with a damp cloth.

IMPORTANT:

If present, remove the fabric filter from the inside

of the collection shaft before emptying the appliance.

•

Refit the whole.

ATTENTION:

Check the condition of the foam filter if the filter surface area is particularly clogged

or if it is damaged replace it

4.

If present, remove the fabric filter (7) (Fig. 5) and clean it. When dry refit the cloth filter.

IMPORTANT:

If the filter surface is extremely dirty, it is advisable to brush the filter to thoroughly

clean it with a normal soft brush, if necessary wash it in water.

IMPORTANT:

If you use cartridge filters or dust-collecting bags (cotton version) instead of the

cloth filter, clean them with a jet of air and check their storage status if necessary to replace

them.

ATTENTION:

Check  the  wear  condition  of  the  fabric  filter  if  the  filtering  surface  is  particularly

obstructed or damaged, proceed with the replacement.

5.

Wipe the inside of the collection drum with a damp cloth.

6.

Refit the suction head (1) above the collection frame (3), remember to fix it using the retaining hooks

(2).

7.

Disconnect the male connector (8) of the detergent Solution Distribution Tube (9) from the female

Connector (10) in the suction head (Fig. 6).
