Installing software patches

When you reinstall or upgrade system software, you must reinstall software patches. You can
install software patches with System Updates or Configure.

Reinstalling system software

After you reinstall system software, you must also reinstall previously installed patches. For a
list of previously installed patches, see the Configuration page you printed before you
reinstalled system software.

Upgrading system software

Do not assume that the software patches listed on the Configuration page are required for an
upgrade. You must contact your authorized service/support center for a list of required
software patches. If you install a software patch that is not required for an upgrade, the system
may be corrupted.
