3-7 About Setup
About Setup
Setup configures the Fiery to communicate with other devices and manage print jobs.
You must perform Setup the first time you turn on the Fiery after new system software
is loaded, or any time Server software is reinstalled. An initial Setup using default
settings is adequate for allowing users to print to the Fiery and use the WebTools.
When your network or user printing environment changes, you can change Setup
options accordingly.
You must first perform initial Setup of the Fiery at the Copier Control Panel.
After the initial Setup, you must set the remaining Fiery Setup options from
Command WorkStation or WebSetup.
If you do not configure the remaining Setups, the Fiery uses default settings. You need
to make settings appropriate for the printing environment at your site.
