Service Procedures

OPEN

THE

RINT

ONTROLLER

X4(AR-PE1)

Make sure you have powered off the Print Controller X4(AR-PE1) and removed all the
cables from the back.

Remove the screw from the back panel and set it aside (see Figure 4-2).

Grasp the side panel at the top on both sides and gently pull it away from the tray.

Lift off the side panel.

Removing the Print Controller X4(AR-PE1) side panel

The Print Controller X4(AR-PE1) internal components are now accessible. Attach an ESD
wrist strap before handling internal parts.

The Print Controller X4(AR-PE1) is shipped from the factory with a standard board
configuration, as shown in Figure 4-3. If optional components have been installed, see
the documentation that came with the specific kit.
