1 General
Keep the Operating Instructions with the hand crimp tool at all times. This hand crimp tool
features state-of-the-art technology and complies with recognised safety regulations. The
crimp tool may be used only in a technally fault-free condition, in a safety-conscious manner
with consideration given to potential hazards, and may be used only for the purpose described
in the Operating Instructions.
The manufacturer is not liable for any damages that occur as a result of unauthorized
modifications made to the hand crimp tool or its improper use. Always isolate wires from the
power supply!
2 Intended use
· for crimping HFBR-connectors 2,2 mm POF
· Simplex or duplex versions: 4501/4511, 4503/4513 and 4506/4516
3 Description
The crimping tool utilizes a leverage mechanism. Once the last tooth is passed in the ratchet
(force operatin to complete), the crimping tool opens automatically. To prevent damage to the
crimping die or connector, the built-in emergency release lever (Do not use crimped terminals
that have not completed the cycle) enables the tool to be opened prematurely in the event of
failed crimping.
