6.2.2
Changing IP Address from the Craft Port
1.
Configuration will be done via Linux CLI craft (RS232) port on the Sensus or via SSH
connection
2.
Attach serial cable from the Sensus front panel craft (RJ-45) port to DB-9 serial port on PC
3.
Login with username (default: SysAdmin) and password (default: Password1)
4.
Run this internal script to configure Eth0 related parameters: /fimo_connect/network_config.sh
5.
Enter the following parameters as necessary:
•
Static IP address you would like to use
•
Netmask
•
Gateway
•
DNS Server
•
Host name

View current IP address
The current IP address of the Sensus is available in the Interface Configuration Panel under the
Settings menu. To access the Interface Configuration Panel:
1.
Using the touchscreen or the attached stylus, login with user credentials. The default
credentials are
Username: LocalAdmin
Password: Password1
2.
Select the Settings Panel
3.
Select the Interface Configuration Panel
4.
The current management address will be listed on the “Current IPv4 Address” row
