4.3.1
Installing the LC-to-LC extension
If installing an LC-to-LC patching module in the Sensus (FMI model numbers DX-2655-001
and DX 2655-003), an additional extension must also be installed to facilitate cable management:
1.
Leave the LC-to-LC extension cover off for installation
2.
Attach the provided extended rack mount ears to the sides of the chassis using the
provided screws (see Section 4.1 for details on this procedure). These are used instead of
the standard rack mount ears

Secure the open LC-to-LC extension to the extended rack mount ears with the provided
screws
4.
Once the LC-to-LC extension is anchored to the Sensus, mount the Sensus to the rack
(see Section 0 for details on this procedure)
5.
Guide the AC power cables for the Sensus through the provided holes in the extension and
connect. Install the LC bundle cables in the extension, and connect LC cables to the rear
ports of the patching modules
