KEY FOB
The Keyless Enter-N-Go feature allows the
driver to operate the ignition switch with
the push of a button as long as the key fob
is in the passenger compartment
.
The Keyless Push Button Ignition has three
operating modes
.
The three modes are
STOP/OFF/LOCK, MAR/ON/RUN and
AVV/START
.
NOTE:
In case the ignition button does not change
with the push of a button, the key fob may
have a low or dead battery
.
In this situation,
a back up method can be used to operate
the ignition switch
. Put the nose side (side
opposite of the emergency key) of the key
fob against the ENGINE START/STOP but-
ton and push to operate the ignition
.
Locking And Unlocking The Doors/Liftgate
Push the lock button once to lock all the doors and the liftgate
.
Push the unlock button
once to unlock the driver’s door only and twice within five seconds to unlock all the
doors and the liftgate
.
All doors can be programmed to unlock on the first push of the unlock button . Refer to
“Uconnect Customer Programmable Features” for further information
.
Panic Alarm
Push and hold the PANIC button for one second to turn the panic alarm on .
Wait approximately three seconds and push the button a second time to turn the panic
alarm off
.
NOTE:
• Never use the PARK position as a substitute for the parking brake
.
Always apply the
parking brake fully when parked to guard against vehicle movement and possible injury
or damage
.
