Direct mode: Continuous nominal value specification
(Continuousmode)

In continuous mode (adjusting mode) the higher−order con
troller specifies position values in a fixed time grid (typical
4

Ū

10ms). As the specification interval is generally greater

than  a  position  control  cycle  (350  s),  the  controller  interpo
lates  automatically  the  values  between  two  specified  position
values.  With  each  specification  interval  the  bit  CDIR.B4
CONTT  (Toggle  bit")  must  be  switched  over  in  order  that  new
specification  intervals  can  be  recognized  reliably.
