positions...) have a mathematical sign and must be adapted
to the position of the relevant basis point.

The setting of the measuring system on the control panel
influences only the display. All the parameters in the
controller are always saved in increments (inch, inch/s,

...) and are not converted until they are written or
read.
Measurements transmitted directly via the RS232 refer to an
increment basis (conversion see appendix B.2).
