5.3
Axis locks
One axis lock each is mounted on the drive housing instead of the coupling housing and the motors.
The axis locks act as a brake on the toothed belt and prevent uncontrolled movements of the Z-axis
during transport and assembly.
WARNING
Risk of injury from electric shock, impact, crushing.
Uncontrolled movements of the Z-axis during transport and assembly.
• Do not remove the axis locks until immediately before mounting the motors.
• Follow the instructions for removal

6.1
Safety
DANGER
Risk of injury due to unexpected movement of the product.
• Take the following precautions when lifting the product:
• Secure movable components with transportation locks to prevent unexpected movement.
• Note the product weight.
• Note the position of the centre of gravity.
• Use suitable lifting equipment.
• Use all of the transportation mounts.
• Adjust the lifting speed.
• Apply the following measures when mounting the product:
• Mount the product correctly.
• Only use the supplied mounting components.
• Lock the screw connections.
• Make sure the mounting surface is sufficiently strong for the maximum forces.
