9.4.3

Diagnostics via diagnostics history

The diagnostics messages of the EtherCAT Interface are stored in the diagnostics history. The last 250
diagnostics messages of the EtherCAT interface can be displayed via the diagnostics object 0x10F3
(from subindex 6)

8.1 Object directory.

An error message referenced with a code is displayed for every event (warning, error, information). The
diagnostics messages are translated using the device description file (ESI file) and thus can be read
from the controller software.

Operating modes of diagnostics messages
There are two operating modes for handling diagnostics messages. The operating mode can be
defined via object 0x10F3 (subindex 5, bit 4):
