Delete diagnostic memory
The diagnostic memory can be deleted via the parameter “Delete diagnostic memory (PNU 204.3,
value = 1
h
)” (optionally possible via FCT). During deletion, a “start-up event” (diagnostic message 3Dh)
is generated and entered in the diagnostic memory. The malfunction counter is not reset.

Diagnostics through FHPP status bytes
The EMCA supports the following diagnostics options via FHPP status bytes

SCON.WARN – warning

SCON.FAULT – malfunction

SPOS.FOLERR – following error

SPOS.STILL – standstill monitoring.
Additionally, all diagnostics information available as PNU can be read (e.g. the diagnostic memory)
through the Enhanced Festo Parameter Channel (EFPC)
