Compatibility settings

6.2.1

Overview

In order to stay compatible with earlier CANopen implementations (e.g. also in other
device families) and still be able to make changes and corrections to the DSP402 and
DS301, the object

compatibility_control

was added. In the default parameter set, this

object delivers 0, that is, compatibility to earlier versions. For new applications, we
recommend setting the defined bits to permit the highest possible agreement with the
names standards.
