Operation
Warning
Moving masses can cause personal injury and material damage.

Make sure that:
nobody can place his/her hand in the path of the moving parts (e.g.by
means of a protective screen),
there are no objects in the positioning range.
It should not be possible to touch the EGC until the mass has come to a
complete stand.
Fitting in a vertical or sloping position
Warning
Falling masses can cause personal injury and material damage.
If there is a power failure or if the spindle nut breaks, the useful load will fall.

If the permitted axial play is exceeded (

maintenance") send the EGC back to Festo to be repaired.
If the motor turns in the wrong direction:

When the motor is removed (e.g. turning
the motor) the reference position is lost.

Start a homing run as detailed in the
chapter 6 Commissioning" in order to
set the new reference position.
