6.3.3 Arm safety
The machine is equipped with a hydraulic safety device which is set into operation when the end tool encounters an
obstacle and the tractor continues moving forward.
By allowing the arm to be moved back, the device gives the operator the necessary time to carry out the manoeuvres
to overcome the obstacle.
The device is equipped with an accumulator that allows automatic repositioning of the
arms in the work position.
To activate/deactivate the device, use:
►
the PSS pushbutton on the console (COMFORT - COMFORT PLUS - EP-TRONIC
version);
►
the tap located under the accumulator (CLASSIC version).
CAUTION
The setting of the safety valve is regulated to guarantee arm safety, whether the arm is reduced or extended.
Be careful not to damage the structure of the machine when working with the end tool
close to the wheel of the tractor or when advancing at a speed greater than 5 Km\h (3.10
Mph).
