SERVICE NOTES
1.
CHASSIS REMOVAL
is accomplished by first
removing the power cord then removing two (2)
screws from each side on the top of the cabinet.
Disconnect the ¼” speaker plug from the
speaker jack and the two RCA plugs from the
reverb jacks. Remove two wood screws on
each side of the upper back panel. After re-
moving the upper back panel, slide the chassis
toward the rear of the cabinet and out.
2.
POWER TUBE BIAS
is accomplished by ad-
justing the chassis mounted potentiometer R58
until the voltage across R72-73 reads approxi-
mately 38mv. This is done with no signal and
the RECTIFIER switch in the TUBE position.
The bias need only be done when changing
output tubes. Please note that you won’t have
to re-bias if you replace the output tubes with
the same brand and grade as the original which
is recommended.
