Adjustments.
Before mounting or replacing cutting tool or accessories, pull the power plug.
This preventive safety measure rules out the danger of injuries through acciden-
tal starting of the power tool.
Adjusting the wheel guard (figure 8).
Release clamping lever.
Turn the wheel guard to the requested work-
ing position, then clamp the wheel guard with
the clamping lever.
Allow the clamping lever to engage.
Turning the gear head (figure 9).
The gear head can be turned by 180° with
respect to the housing. This allows you to set
the On/Off switch to a more favorable han-
dling position for special jobs.
Loosen the screw and remove the clamping
lever and the washer.
Unscrew the four screws.
Carefully turn the gear head to the new posi-
tion
without removing it from the housing .
Mount and tighten the four screws again.
Mount the washer and the clamping lever
again and fasten them with the screw.
