Description
Keepalive
Interval
The keepalive interval in seconds. Enter a value between 10 and
3600.
QoS
The differentiated services code point value assigned to signaling
messages from the RTU.
Relay 1
Turns on Relay 1 when the input is active.
Relay 2
Turns on Relay 2 when the input is active.
The relays will remain on while the WAV files (DV messages) are
playing in Momentary mode. The relays will remain on as long as the
input is active in Continuous mode.
The relay settings also apply to SIP functions 1-4 if the Informer has
not been programmed by the Commander application. See “Informer
Control using IP Phone Keypad” on page 9.
NOTES
:
1. The number of inputs and outputs vary based on the Informer
model being configured. Checking the Relay check box, causes
the associated relay to close for the duration of a SIP call and any
DV message selected during the SIP call. This setting does not
affect the Relay settings configured in the Digital Input section.
2. I-IPSIU devices have an additional configuration for the radio PTT
relays. The relays can be enabled or disabled. The relays will not
close on a busy channel unless it is configured to Send after a
configurable hold off time. See the following screen.
Digital Inputs
Mode
The digital input mode. Available options:
• Disabled: The digital input is not configured for local activation.
• Commander: The digital input is configured for local activation
from Commander. This selection is for display only, and if
selected, the mode will revert to Disabled.
• Momentary: The selected WAV file(s) will play one time when the
state changes from Inactive to Active.
• Continuous: The selected WAV file(s) will play continuously while
the input is Active.
If more than one input is configured for Continuous mode, the WAV
file(s) and relay output(s) associated with each input will activate in
sequence as long as the inputs are active.
Polarity
The polarity of the digital input active state.
Normally Open: Active state is input Closed.
Normally Closed: Active state is input Open.
