The FD932DVD-LP-2 has an available remote 

IR sensor (“remote eye”) that can be used to 

accept remote signals in addition to the main unit. For instance, the remote eye can be 
mounted by a monitor, to allow both the monitor and the DVD player to be controlled by 
pointing the remote at the same spot.
