GENERAL

:

1.  Before starting the installation, make sure all electricity has been turned

off and electrical breaker has been locked out and tagged out.

2.  To ensure the success of the installation, be sure to read these

instructions and review the diagrams thoroughly before beginning.

3.  All electrical connections must be in accordance with local codes,

ordinances, or the National Electrical Code.

NOTE

: The important safeguards and instructions appearing in this manual

are not meant to cover all possible conditions and situations that may occur.

1)

FOOTING DESIGN:

All footings should be poured to direct water away from the base
of the fixture.  Drainage should be provided to prevent water from
collecting under and around the fixture.  Anchors must be located per
the dimensions shown (see next page).  Anchor Bolts are galvanized
steel. The unthreaded portion should be in the concrete and the threaded
portion should be 7/8” above the concrete.

2)

INSTALL MOUNTING RING:

Remove the top assembly from the bottom mounting plate by loosening
the (2) screws on top of the housing.  DO NOT remove screws completely.
Once the footing is set and level, connect 1/2” (O.D.) conduit to the
bottom of mounting plate and pull wiring into the base housing. Using (4)
nuts and washers, anchor the mounting plate to the finished concrete.

TIGHTEN EVENLY AND DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN

.

3)

WIRING:

Make wiring connections.  All wiring connections must be made in
accordance with local electrical codes, ordinances, and the National
Electric Code (NEC).

4)

Place bollard top assembly over base mounting plate.  Tighten the (2) top
screws evenly until fixture is held firmly in place. Tighten screws evenly
to create a proper seal.

5)  Place a bead of silicone caulk around the bottom edge of the bollard

where the fixture meets the concrete.
