Defective components
Assembly or programming faults
Transport damage
Please contact FAZUA Service.
Please contact the bike
manufacturer.
Please report the damage to the
transport company (e.g. damaged
box and therefore defective
components).
STATUTORY LIABILITY FOR DEFECTS/WARRANTY
Legally regulated liability of the commercial seller (bike dealer) to the customer. The seller
shall ensure that the goods sold are free of any defects.
The statutory period of limitation in the EU is 24 months from the date of handover of the
product to the consumer (irrespective of the duration of storage by the bike dealer).
If an e-bike component is replaced, the limitation period does not restart from the beginning.
The cost of a rental bike, taxi, or costs incurred due to cancellation of travel are not part of
the dealer’s material liability.
3.5 Care, storage, and transport
All drive system components must be kept clean at all times. Therefore, you should pay attention to the
following recommendations:
Always remove the battery before cleaning the e-bike.
Do not immerse the drive system components in water or clean them with a steam
jet cleaner.
Only use plastic-compatible lubricants and greases.
STORAGE
Observe the operating and storage temperatures for the drive system components. The battery
in particular can be damaged by extreme temperatures.
Store components in a dry and well-ventilated place. Protect from moisture and water!
For more detailed information on operating and storage temperatures, refer to the technical data of the
individual components in the operating instructions.
