8 ACCESSORIES
8.1 Cylinder lock (from chapter 5 "LOCKER")
The equipment with a cylinder lock is optional and depends on the bicycle manufacturer. The cylinder lock
is not included in the scope of delivery of the drive system and cannot be retrofitted if no space is provided
in the frame for the cylinder lock.

If necessary, follow the manufacturer's instructions for the cylinder lock when installing.
8.2 12 V connector box

Immediately after mounting the 12 V connector box, a diagnosis must be carried
out with the FAZUA Toolbox software! Through diagnostics, the system detects
the lighting and calculates the safety shutdown to comply with EN15194.
IMPORTANT: Activate the 12 V connector box in FAZUA Toolbox under "Configurations" beforehand,
otherwise it will not be taken into account in the diagnosis.

Note that terminal consumers with > 12 V and > 1 A will not work on the 12 V connector box and
may lead to non-functioning or damage to the battery of the drive system. Therefore, never
connect unsuitable end consumers to the 12 V connector box.
The 12 V connector box is specially designed for the FAZUA drive system and is operated with
the REMOTE.
The 12 V connector box is used to connect electrical consumers that can be operated with a supply voltage
of max. 12 V and a current of max. 1 A. The 12 V connector box is primarily designed for the power supply of
lighting systems on the e-bike (front, rear light).
8.2.1 Possible mounting locations on the e-bike
The following positions are suitable for mounting the 12 V connector box on the bicycle frame:
1. Installation space between head tube and LOCKER
