8.11.3 Replacing the oil separator element

Protective equip-

ment:

Working clothes

Protective gloves

Park the machine in secured condition

Chapter 6.6 „Parking the machine in

secured condition“ on page 106

Allow the engine to cool down.

Unscrew the cover (1).

Renew oil separator element (3) and seal

ring (2).

Re-assemble the oil separator.

Dispose of the oil separator element envi-

ronmentally.

8.11.4 Checking the exhaust gas recirculation cooler

This work must only be performed by

authorized service personnel.

8.11.5 Replacing hoses

This work must only be performed by

authorized service personnel.

Perform this maintenance work at

the latest after two years.

The following hoses need to be renewed:

fuel hoses,

air intake hoses,

hoses in connection with the oil separator.
