8.2 Setting up Opera

When using Opera it is recommended to change some default settings of Opera as
described below. Open Opera on your PDA, select

Menu

, then

Display

, and activate

Desktop

. It is also recommended to change the orientation to the

Landscape

(see

manual of the PDA for more details). Please also notice the option

Full Screen

which

you can activate to maximize the usable screen area for FARO Record Mobile. To
return from

Full Screen

hold the pen down on the screen until a context menu appears

and click on

Full Screen

again.

Recommended display settings for Opera

The built-in zoom function of Opera is also very useful. Setting it to 75% will ensure that
all web pages will fit on the small PDA.
