Extend the legs of the tripod and lock the leg angle clips. Ensure that the

tripod is stable and the tripod feet are secured.
In windy conditions, use a heavy weight or sandbags to stabilize and

secure the tripod.

While the scanner can be screwed directly onto a tripod, using a tribrach

adapter or panorama quick-release adapter is recommended. In this

training, we will be using the tribrach adapter.
