Optional: Rear trailing wheel kit – single or twin wheel
The kit allows easier turning and better height adjustment to reduce drag.
Turn mini top link adjuster to desired height. Lock in position.
Rear wheel is solid rubber “no punctures” and long wearing life.
Grease pivot bush regularly.
Combined over run (freewheel) slip clutch
Fitted to TE20, Grey Fergie Tractors and others with single stage clutch.
Protects PTO drive line from damage.
Prevents single stage clutch tractors from being driven forward by PTO over-run.
Bizaloy hard wearing skid runners
These hard wearing strips of steel (75 or 100mm wide) can be welded to the skids for maximum wear life.
These are much harder wearing than mild steel, suitable for Contractors.
Extra heavy duty cutting discs
Extra heavy duty 2 or 3 blade cutting rotors are optional for Contractors, where cutting requirements exceed
normal working conditions.
Side Delivery – optional on some models:
To create a wind tunnel effect, a steel guard is bolted in the back half of the cutting circle. This carries the
grass around to exit out the chute. We provide a replaceable door which must be removed for side delivery
cutting. Replacing the door will give mulching, and the grass will exit from the rear.
The height of the Slasher relative to the amount of grass being cut is important, so product can escape un-
der the steel guard. In heavy cutting conditions the steel guard can be removed.
If required, steel guard can be removed for general slashing. Check the guard for damage and straighten if
required.
Deflector plate:
Depending on side delivery requirements, a deflector plate is available to deposit cut material at the re-
quired distance, ie 1-2 metres from exit to tree line. The angle of the deflector plate can be altered to
achieve the desired distance.
