Winch Assembly And Installation

Figure 81

Remove the two 1/2” x 2” bolts (Item 1) and cover (Item
2)

from the winch assembly. Retain bolts for

securing the hydraulic motor.

Install gasket (Item 1)

onto the hydraulic

motor mounting flange.

Apply a high performance silicone gasket sealant (such

as Loctite

598) to the gasket.

Align the hydraulic motor (Item 1)

and install onto the gasket.

Install the two 1/2” x 2” bolts (Item 2)

[Figure 83]

(removed from the winch assembly) though the hydraulic
motor and into the winch assembly. Tighten the bolts to
securely fasten the hydraulic motor to the winch
assembly.
