Main Chassis Procedures
Remove/Replace the Film Supply Motor (D900484-06), Ribbon Supply Motor
(D900484-07), and RFID Board (A000365)
Tools needed: T10 Torx Driver
Estimated Time: 30 minutes
Preparation: Remove the Covers.
Remove the Auxiliary board.
Remove the Fan Box/Bracket
Important: This procedure can only be performed by
authorized service personnel.
Suggestion: Lay the printer on the front side for ease of
accessing the motors.
IMPORTANT NOTE
: When replacing the Film Supply
Motor make note of the number listed on the label of the
new motor. Add this number to the Advanced Settings in
the Printer Driver TOOLBOX.
Step Procedure

Caution: Turn OFF the Printer and unplug the power cord from the Printer.
This procedure is used to replace the RFID Boards (A000365) is used for both Supply
Motors and the Encoder Sensor attached to the motor as one piece
2 To remove Film Supply Motor or the Ribbon Supply Motor disconnect the wire connection
at the top of the motor.
3 Remove the three (3) screws that hold the Motor to the Frame.
4 Remove the Motor.
The Encoder Sensor is part of this assembly
5 To replace the RFID the Motor must be removed.
Disconnect the wire from the RFID Board and slide down and out.
6 Line up the screw holes. ( Note: The Motor will only fit in one way.)
7 Reverse the instructions to re-assemble.
