How to Assemble Your Ceiling Fan

1.

downrod/hangerball assembly by loosening the set

screw  in  the  hanger  ball  until  the  ball  falls  freely

down  the  downrod.  Remove  the  pin  from  the

downrod, then remove the hanger ball. Retain the

pin  and  hanger  ball  for  reinstallation  in  Step  4

(Figure 1).

2.

Loosen the two set screws in the downrod support.

Route black, blue and white lead wires through the

downrod (Figure 2).

3.

Position  downrod  support  and  align  the  clevis  pin

holes in both parts. Install the clevis pin and secure

with  the  hairpin  clip.  Tighten  the  two  set  screws

and locking nuts in the downrod support (Figure 3).

4.

Route wires through motor coupling cover, canopy

screw cover and canopy (Figure 4).

5.

Reinstall  the  hanger  ball  on  the  downrod  as

follows.Route  the  three  80-inch  wires  through  the

hanger ball. Position the pin through the two holes

in the downrod and align the hanger ball so the pin

is  captured  in  the  groove  in  the  top  of  the  hanger

ball.  Pull  the  hanger  ball  up  tight  against  the  pin.

Securely  tighten  the  set  screw  in  the  hanger  ball.
