chain. Never use waste oil, thick oil or very thin sewing machine oil. These may dam-
age your chainsaw.

Place the chainsaw onto a stable
surface. Loosen and remove the chain
cover knob (9).
Remove the chain cover assembly (10).
Place the chain over the guide bar
making sure that the saw chain cutters
on the upper part of the guide bar face
towards the front (PIC 2).
Guide the chain around the guide bar
and pull it to create a loop to one side at
the rear end of the guide bar.
