The manufacturer provides that the product is reliable which means that they undertake to repair or replace the device if proved to be defective in materials or construction.
The warranty is valid for 24 months beginning from the date of product purchase under the condition that:

The installation is completed by qualified personnel in compliance with the manufacturer's instructions.

The seals are intact and no arbitrary changes are introduced.
3.
The device is used according to its design and maintenance instructions.
4.
The damage does not result from improperly prepared electric installation or weather phenomena.
5.
The manufacturer shall not be liable for misuse and/or mechanical damage of the product.
In case of a defective product, it has to be delivered together with the Certificate of guarantee to the Manufacturer.
The defects of the products found during the warranty period are repaired free of charge within 14 working days beginning from the date the product is received
to repairs under guarantee.

ZTC3iW Control Units are verified and approved to operate in connection with motors used in Fakro window electric accessories. Make sure you
know the technical specifications of these products, before applying control units to control other devices.

After unpacking, check that all elements of the control unit have no mechanical damage
•
Plastic bags, used as packaging (a potential danger), should be kept out of children’s reach
•
Before connecting the control unit to the power supply make sure that the power supply voltage is equal to the voltage recommended on the identification plate of the
device
•
The control unit should be used according to its design. Fakro shall not be liable for any consequences of improper use of the device.
•
Complaints resulting from installation errors or device's misuse will be examined before any recompense is considered!
•
The installation should be completed by qualified personnel in compliance with the manufacturer's instructions. Non-observance of the safety regulations can be
hazardous.
•
Any maintenance or cleaning works of the device should be done only after disconnection from the power supply. It is recommended that the surge protection switch is
installed in order to secure the possibility of disconnection of the control unit from the power supply.

It is not recommended to use water jet, solvent substances ( no dip bath- recommended ) while cleaning the control unit.
•
Serious repairs should be completed only by the manufacturer’s authorised personnel.

It is recommended to demand only original spare parts.

Non-observance of the above instructions or using the control unit to control other (non-authorised) electrical devices can be hazardous and result in warranty loss.
ZTC3iW control units have been designed and manufactured in compliance with European standards and they are marked with CE norm.

All devices connected to ZTC3iW should comply with the above standards as well.

The device is meant to be the control unit of Fakro window accessories (24V). All the electrical connections should be effected according to regulations.
•
The control units are designed to be powered by 230V mains, 50Hz and equipped with internal transformers lowering the voltage appropriate to Fakro accessories.
•
Control units may be additionally equipped with a set of batteries 2 x 12V which provide power supply in case of power cuts.
ATTENTION:
All power supplying systems must be connected by competent and qualified technical personnel in accordance with safety principles. All the connections must be performed
with the power cut off. Before commencing installation read the enclosed instructions carefully. Complaints resulting from installation errors will be examined before any
recompense is considered! Carry out connections according to the diagrams presented below. In case of any doubts do not hesitate to contact producer's representatives.
Incorrect connection may lead to serious device damage.
ZTC3iw CONTROL UNIT (DESCRIPTION)
ZTC3iw
control unit can be applied to control three FAKRO windows, electric accessories (servo-motors, roller blinds, Venetian blinds). Control is possible by means of ZRC
remote control or connected to 'LA-LB' inputs keyboard.Control unit may automatically control the work of the electric accessories in case of rainfall or strong gusts of wind.
It is possible thanks to the rain and wind sensors which can be connected to the device. The control unit is designed in such a way as to allow its operation in connection
with other control units of the same type. It is possible to connect up to 9 control units. Additionally, it is possible to assign 10 controlling devices to every control unit (ZKC
keyboard, ZRC remote control). Depending on the user’s needs, it is possible to configure the keyboards and control units in such a way that individual drive’s control is
realised from particular positions.
PROGRAMMING
It is possible to configure each control unit to work in different systems. The table below presents configuration options and the way of configuring on different menu levels.
All programming sequences must be completed in a defined (limited) time. Should there any mistake in the programming sequence occur one should either wait
approximately 10 seconds or restart the control unit by momentary power supply disconnection.

ATTENTION: One remote control may be assigned to a number of control units. In order to assign remote control to next control unit the above procedure should be
repeated. A number of remote controls may be assigned to one control unit. Via assigning remote control to control unit one must give it a particular number (from 1 to 4),
which can be changed at any time on menu level 5. Control unit number corresponds to the number of diodes on remote control and keyboard.
