WARNING: Repairing the

WARNING: Before carry-

disconnect the plug from
the socket.
• Do not pull the power cord or
the appliance itself to remove
the plug from the socket.

structions. Incorrect installa-
tion can cause damage to
persons, animals or property
for which the manufacturer
cannot be held responsible.
WARNING: Do not open
the ventilation unit.
• Do not in any way obstruct the
air inlet and outlet grilles.
• Only ever use the appliance in
a vertical position.
• Always place the appliance
on a stable, flat and level sur-
face.
• Disconnect the cable when
the unit is not in use for an ex-
tended period of time.
• Do not use the appliance in
particularly humid environ-
ments (bathroom, kitchen,
etc.).
• Do not immerse the device in
water or other liquids.
• Clean the device with a damp
cloth; do not use abrasive
products or materials. To
clean the filters, see the ap-
propriate paragraph.
• The most common cause of
overheating is the accumula-
tion of dust or fluff in the appli-
ance. Regularly remove
these accumulations as de-
scribed in the Cleaning and
Maintenance paragraph.
• Disassembly, repair or recon-
version by an unauthorised
person could result in serious
damage and will void the
manufacturer's warranty.
• Do not use the appliance in
the event of a fault or malfunc-
tion if the cable or plug is dam-
aged or if it has been dropped
or damaged in any way. Turn
off the appliance, disconnect
the plug from the power
socket and have it checked by
professionally qualified per-
sonnel.
