Understanding indicator LED behavior
It helps to understand the indicator LED behavior of the BIG-IP
®
software,
on the 1600, 3600, and 3900 platforms.
Indicator LED actions
The behavior, or action, of each LED indicates the status of the system.
Table 4.1 defines the indicator LED actions.
Standard operating states
When the unit is in a standard operating state, the status and alarm LEDs
behave in a defined manner. Table 4.2 defines the standard operating states
for the status and alarm LEDs.
Action Description
Off (none) The LED is not lit and does not display any color.
Solid The LED is lit and does not blink.
Blinking The LED turns on and off at a regular frequency.
Intermittent The LED turns on and off with an irregular frequency
and may sometimes appear solid.
