MAINTENANCE OF THE E-BIKE
It is extremely important that you service your bike on time. We recommend that you take your bike to a
service point after a few hundred kilometers or approximately three months after purchase. By then, all the
rotating parts will have aligned, the chain will be tight, and the spokes may need some tightening.
Maintaining your bike at this time will largely prevent future aches, pains, and inconveniences that could
deprive you of the fun of riding your bike
Lubricate the brake units, levers, chain, and freewheel with liquid paraffin.
Lubricate the hubs, cranks, and steering unit once a year. Avoid tires or brake surfaces contact with oil or
grease. Do not use a high-pressure cleaning machine.
Check the following components regularly: tightening points (wheels, hubs, console, handlebars, saddle,
chain), brake pads and tires wear, brakes, and derailleurs adjustment.
Make sure you do a full general checkup every two months if you use the e-bike once a week with
a heavy load.
