2 Signal Type — From the
Signal Type
drop-down list, click the desired signal type

3 Signal Sampling — Enter a value within acceptable range (displayed in parentheses to
the right of the corresponding field) in the desired field or click the
Up
and
Down
arrows

) to adjust signal sampling settings.

Shift — Enter a value within the Min and Max values displayed to the right of the
corresponding field or click the
Up
or
Down
arrows (see figure 24 ,

horizontal and vertical shift settings.
5 Picture Control
— Click and drag the associated slider (see

image setting (brightness, contrast, color, or tint).
Alternatively, enter a value within the field associated with the image setting, or click the
Up
and
Down
arrows to change the value in the field.
6 Image Reset — Click the
Image Reset
button (see figure 24 ,

) to reset color, tint,
brightness, contrast, phase, horizontal shift, and vertical shift settings to the default
values.

Input presets save signal sampling to be recalled later.

Save Preset — Select one from the list of presets and click the
Save Preset
button

) to save signal type and image settings to a preset.
8 Recall Preset — Select the desired preset from the list of presets and click the
Recall

To aid display device setup and optimization, enable the color bars test pattern.

Color Bars Test Pattern — Select the
Color Bars Test Pattern
check box (see

) to enable a color bar test pattern. When the test pattern is enabled, the
Signal Type
drop-down list becomes available. From the
Signal Type
drop-down
list, select the desired resolution and refresh rate.
