MediaPort-Initiated Messages
When a local event such as a front panel selection or adjustment takes place, the
MediaPort responds by sending a message to the host. No response is required from the
host. Examples of MediaPort-initiated messages are listed here.
•
Reconfig
]
The MediaPort sends this response when a change in the input frequency is detected.
•
HplgO
]
The MediaPort sends this response when a hot plug event on the output is detected (for
example, when a display on the HDMI loop output is unplugged and reconnected).
Error Responses
When the MediaPort receives a valid command, it executes the command and sends a
response to the host device. If the unit is unable to execute the command because the
command contains invalid parameters, it returns an error response to the host.
