Product Configuration Software Control
This section introduces the Product Configuration Software (PCS), available on the Extron
website. The Windows-based PCS communicates with the switcher via the following ports:
•
Configuration port
— A standard USB mini-B port (see

Remote RS-232 port
— A serial port on a 3.5 mm, 3-pole captive screw connector
(see
on page 6).
•
9600 Baud
•
8 data bits
•
No parity
•
1 stop bit
The program is compatible with Windows 7 and later.
Installing the Software
The PCS (minimum version 4.7.0 or newer is required for the transmitter) and Firmware
Loader are available on the Extron website. Download and install both programs as follows:

Steps 1 through 6, below, are also used to download a firmware update package.
