Introduction
About This Manual
This manual describes the function, installation, operation, and control of the
TLP 350CV touch panel controllers.
The following symbols are used throughout the manual and carry the following
meanings:

A Note icon draws attention to important information.
T
A Tip provides a suggestion to make setting up or working with the device easier.
C
A Caution icon warns of things that might damage the equipment.
W
A Warning icon warns of things that might cause injury, death, or other
severe consequences.
About the TLP 350CV
The Extron TouchLink™ 3.5 inch Cable Cubby® TLP 350CV provides touch panel
configuration and control for a range of IP Link
®
control systems. Its flexibility
allows more configuration options and avoids the need for additional control
modules.
In addition to a tilt-up, full-color touchscreen, ten customizable backlit buttons
provide expanded control capabilities to ensure critical functions are easily
accessible. The TLP 350CV touchpanel enables integrators to deploy a fully
configurable furniture mounted touchscreen control with cable management and
easy access to A/V connectivity and power. Combined with Extron IP Link
®
Series
compact Ethernet Control Interfaces, the TLP 350CV enables almost any A/V
device to be controlled, monitored, and accessed when connected to a Local Area
Network, Wide Area Network, or the Internet.
A/V connectivity and cable management is provided by convenient pullout cables
such as VGA, 3.5 mm audio, A/V, network, HDMI, DVI and Display port cables.
Passive AAP plates and a dual AC outlet are also available.
Using the video input, the panel can monitor video source devices whether as a
preview aid or a personal viewer for the operator.
In this manual the terms TLP 350CV, Cable Cubby, panel and touch panel may refer
to the TLP 350CV.
Features
TLP 350CV features include:
3.5 inch LCD screen —
displays a wide range of customizable graphics.
Touch screen overlay —
provides simple and intuitive control over a range of
functions by touching on-screen icons.
GUI Configurator Software —
allows the user to design a custom graphical
user interface and associate a range of different functions with objects in that
display. No programming knowledge is needed.
Easy configuration and flexibility —
allows the controls to be adapted to
system needs, avoiding additional control modules. On screen graphics and
text, as well as the functions associated with them, can be easily changed to
adapt the control panel to evolving system needs.
Built-in speaker —
provides audible feedback when a button is pressed
Ethernet connection —
allows Extron IP Link-enabled control processors to
provide an inexpensive, easily installed cabling option that allows products
located anywhere on the network to be connected.
