Summit Switch Hardware Installation Guide

Summit Switch Overview

Reset Button

The reset button is used to hard reset the switch. Use a non-conductive tool to push the 
reset button.

Console Port

The console port (9-pin, “D” type connector) is used for connecting a terminal and 
carrying out local management.

Management Port

The management port (RJ-45 connector) is a 10/100 Mbps Ethernet connection used for 
out-of-band management.
