Installing a Summit 750 W AC Power Supply into the EPS-C2
The EPS-C2 chassis is shipped with slots 2 and 3 covered and slot 1 open.
We recommend that you install a power supply first in slot 1, but this is not required. You can install
power supplies into any of the slots in the EPS-C2 chassis. The installation sequence does not affect the
performance of the power supply units, but empty slots must be covered at all times.
Warning
To prevent an electrical hazard, make sure that the AC power cord is not connected to the
power supply before you install the power supply in the power supply bay.
After the EPS-C2 has been installed in a rack, do the following to install a 750 W AC power supply in an
EPS-C2 chassis:
1 If necessary, grasp the two tabs on either side of the slot cover and pull gently to remove it from the
front of the EPS-C2 chassis.
