Updating the Operating System Version
Updating the Operating System Version
For security reasons, you should check for updates regularly to keep the T200S operating
system version up to date.
Updating the operating system may take a significant amount of time.
To update the operating system version:
1.
Make sure that your T200S is connected to the Internet.
2.
Turn on the T200S as explained in Turning on the T200S and Accessing the GUI on
page 16.
3. In the T200S task bar, touch the button to display the
Settings
window and select
the Update tab.
The System Update button enables you to update the operating system.

Touch the Update system button.
The T200S verifies if your system is up to date. This operation might take time.

If after 15 minutes, the T200S is still checking for updates, a problem may have
occurred during the update checking. In this case, touch
Cancel and restart the
T200S before running a new operating system update.

If updates are available, a message gives the list of available updates and prompts
you to install them.

If no update has been found, an information message is displayed.
5. Touch the Download, install and restart button to install the update(s).
The T200S downloads and installs the updates, and then restarts automatically.
6.
Once the T200S has restarted: in the Settings window, touch the Check for updates
button again to make sure that all updates have been installed.
If all updates have not been installed, perform steps 1 to 5 again to install all the
available updates.
